Formed in March 1953 and disbanded in June 1970 when it was "absorbed" into the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE) at CFB Cold Lake, Alberta.
Role: Performed testing and evaluation of all new aircraft, equipment and modifications that would eventually enter service with the RCN.
